OUR CAFE HAS A NAME
After months of deliberation, and help from Inner-West Weekly readers, 2UE listeners and Channel 7 viewers as well as users of our website, The Trust has reached its verdict:
![]()
The name 'Reflections' was chosen from over 100 other names because it fits perfectly with many of our visitors who come here to reflect on the memories and lives of deceased loved ones.
Although still in our temporary cafe (see pic below), our new building (currently under construction) aims to create a social atmosphere where people can relax and engage in conversation with family and friends within a calming and peaceful environment.

So although our brand new 'Reflections at Rookwood' cafe with Rookwood Florist won't be opening until mid 2008, we didn't see why you should have to wait - that's why we built the temporary 'igloo'!
The temporary cafe is currently being managed by John Bertuzzi (who also runs Rookwood Florist) and is located on Memorial Avenue, just inside the Strathfield gates next to the construction area for the new cafe.
So come on down and grab yourself a coffee and a snack on your next visit, and whilst you're relaxing in the outdoor seating area, have a look at the mural paintings on the walls (by mural artist Michelle Tran with the assistance of students from Strathfield Girls High School).
WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
Drinks - Coffee (all types), tea, soft drinks, water
Food - Wraps, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, muffins, biscuits, chocolates, ice-creams, crisps
